Biomimicry Centre takes the protection of your personal data seriously. In this privacy statement we explain which data we collect, why, and what rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data we process
When you contact us or register for a course, we may process the following data:
- Name and contact details (email address, phone number)
- Company and billing details (where applicable)
- The content of your message via the contact form
- Technical data such as IP address and browser information
Purposes and legal basis
We process your data to respond to your enquiry, to handle courses and registrations, and to comply with legal obligations (for example administrative and tax obligations). The legal basis is your consent, the performance of a contract, or a legitimate interest.
Sharing with third parties
We do not share your data with third parties unless necessary for our services or legally required. We use processors for hosting and email (including our website hosting and the email service that handles the contact form). Data processing agreements are in place with these parties.
Retention periods
We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as long as legally required (for example the 7-year tax retention obligation for administration).
Cookies
This website only uses functional cookies that are necessary for it to work properly, including a cookie to remember your language preference. We do not place tracking or advertising cookies without your consent.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or transfer your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To do so, contact us at info@biomimicry-centre.com. We will respond within four weeks.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful processing. Traffic to this website is transmitted over a secure (HTTPS) connection.
